Just installed ft & rr on AN400K3 with ORIGINAL Hoop, based on budgeting AND excellent use from Shinko 777 cruiser tires (last RR got 11K). Planning for cheapest city commuting as 95% of use. Went on coast ride to scuff this week, but was still wet in the woods; feel compliant and grippy enough so far. Front has narrow Z groove that followed a particular grooved slab HWY that I will not be on frequently, or can detour. Amazon vendor shipping was fast!
04/21 update: nearly 5000mis on the set. Still good feel and grip apart from prior mentioned groove following by the front (vs Hoop). For WEAR: both have scalloping type wear now, and both more so on the left. I used RideOn sealer only on the rear. OE Hoop from rear was center bald at 4500, but that owner rode 2-up (at 41psi). In reading many tire posts here, it may indicate an INHERENT trait of the Burgman rather than tire brand. I just want to wear them OUT, not have to change b/c worn oddly (= early). I do not wet ride, so have ordered Avons to save for next time (periodic supply issues also seen here). Btw I'm at 25 front (leaks/loses monthly), 30 rear (never leaks!), solo only, city mostly, and strickly easy launches. Shiny up ya'll .

 

I've been using Shinko SR568 rear tires on my 2011 Burgman 400. I got about 6000 miles on the first rear tire, and am just shy of 6000 miles on the second tire, which I am about to replace with another SR568. I might not be very discerning about tires, but I've not had any issues at all with the SR568. I do run the tires until the strings are nearly showing, so you might not get as many miles as I have gotten. At about 20K miles, I replaced the factory front tire, which was cupped pretty badly, with the Shinko SR567, which is working fine (I've just turned 22K miles on the bike). I ride the bike hard - pretty much every acceleration is full throttle; a friend kids with me, saying that I could replace my throttle with an on/off switch. :grin
