Question about feature differences - any comparison chart?

Hi all,

I currently own a '08 400, but I'm contemplating getting a used 650.

Is there a comparison chart anywhere that lists what features on on which models of the 650 for which years?

There are a few 650's I've seen for sale recently in my area of different model years, and I'm not sure if those years offered an executive version or possibly what came on the base vs the executive? Suzuki's site only goes as far back as '14, and I was hoping for find information for '08-'12. Some of the ads are just lacking in details and I was hoping there was a just a good chart available.

the 650's are pretty much all the same, some are not execs some have heated grips and seats, some have digital dashes, but buying used , you will have to look at each bike and see what farkles have been added and what each bike has on it, and what updates and mods , if lane splitting is not allowed in your state, and garage space is not at premium, folding mirrors are really only good for waving at pretty wimmin.

Hahaha,

Well, lane splitting is not allowed, the folding mirrors was primarily for my garage which is already an awkward fit with my 400. Of a bigger interest to me is the adjustable windshield. Aside from a bit of a bigger engine, the adjustable on the fly windshield is of the most interest to me (a feature I used to love on my sport touring bike I sold last year).

That's where the interesting ??'s come in tho - like (even tho a more recent model) - the 2014, which didn't appear to offer an exec model in the US (see link)

http://www.suzukicycles.com/Product%20Lines/Scooters/Products/Burgman%20650/2014/AN650A.aspx#Features

shows a 650 abs that has all of those features (mirrors, windshield), but it's not an exec...

So I kinda wondered - exec vs standard features accurate for all years?

I wish back when I bought the one I have now brand new I had just splurged a bit at the time and gotten the 650 (probably would have saved me money in the long run as I would never had bought the touring bike if I had gotten the 650), but it is what it is :)

The rough jist of it.

'06-'09 can get in standard or Executive. '07 Ececutive only having the beautiful red color.

Executive adds chrome trim, ABS, power folding mirrors, power adjustable wind screen, and passenger backrest.

'11-'12 Executive model only

'13-'15 650 ABS model is part standard model part Executive (ABS, power folding mirrors, power windscreen, and chrome trim)

'16-'17 650 Executive only with all the do dad's (ABS, power folding mirrors, power windscreen, chrome trim, heated grips, heated seat, and passenger backrest). The first fully trimmed Executive offered in the US with it all.
