2007 Burgman Executive 650, Sedona Red, 12,200 miles, price: $4,000

New Bridgestone tires, front & rear, about 600 miles.

Clearview Medium windshield w/vent, non tinted, installed 300 miles ago. OEM included.

Rider backrest

Attractive chrome bumper front & rear, which was on scooter when purchased about 8 months ago.

New Stopper bolt installed today. Also, new Amsoil in engine, transmission and rear drive. New air filter installed a couple of weeks ago.

Details: I bought this scooter from the widow of the previous owner who died of a heart attack after owning the machine for a month or so. The first owner was a guy in his 80's who gave up riding because of age.

I bought the bike as a test to see if it could come close to my Gold Wing in comfort, wind protection, etc. The new Clearview has done the job.:smile

I love this bike, but at age 74, want a new machine, undoubtedly my last. I want the heated seat & grips, revamped transmission, blah, blah. Plus, the red is a little too flashy for me, and like the new matt black.:serious

My computer photo program is lost, so can send pictures on my IPhone to interested people. Email: manwhoplantstrees@gmail.com

Lower price: $3800 firm,
That sounds great. I've always wanted red, and I'd sure like an Exec. Color me definitely interested.

Unfortunately ... I'm between jobs ATM. Haha, the hours are great (I have more time for riding!) but the pay is awful.

There are some prospects, however. I'll be attending a professional conference in 2+ weeks where there are usually many recruiters. I hope before summer's out I will have another job.

I'll definitely snatch this up if it's still available when I have an income.

gec343,
Best wishes on your sale. I hope you get exactly what you want for it. It's a pity you aren't down here as we'd like to go riding with you sometime. By the way, the Goldwing and especially your bodyguards Pugsley & his feline companion look great too.

Good luck with the sale of your bike. I too have an 07 Exe and ever since I put on an oversize windshield along with a Russell Day-Long saddle it pretty much matches my 2010 Goldwing in comfort. Perhaps not quite but few bikes can match any Goldwing in all day comfort. Not stock anyway.

I did not ask the dealer to install new valve stems when the tires were mounted, but just called them. The service manager said that "valve stems are only replaced if needed or by customer request". In hindsight, I should have had that done. However, I just went out and looked at both valve stems which look quite new, not cracked, etc. The rear 90 degree is chrome. The dealer didn't furnish me with a work order on the mounting. They were installed at Lakeside Sports, Mecosta, MI.

I have decided to pull my ad, wait for Suzuki's response on Jeff MDR's letter to Suzuki, etc.

I greatly appreciate all interest in my Burgman Executive, the Lady Burgman. Man, I love this machine and cannot imagine vibration, which is one of the reasons I eliminated Harley's from my buy list. I'm not Harley bashing. still love them!

This is dedicated to the Lady Burgman: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMXehqqR8J8

Thread resurrection

I pulled this ad a few months ago. However, I've now decided to buy a new 2016 Burgman 650 because I like the flat black, plus at age 74 want one last new bike. The Burgman is the same as listed in May but now has 15,200 miles and climbing. The front tire is still excellent but the rear will be due for replacement in two or three thousand miles.

I also have a new uninstalled Bestam Topbox to include with the sale. Also, set of Iridium Plugs. Price reduced to $3400 Additional photos on request.

I live in Central Michigan so riding weather is coming to an end. Will ride to show within two or three hundred miles of Big Rapids, MI

This ad may be reactivated soon. Supposedly, the Burgman Executive is sold but the guy (not a forum member) is apparently having some issues since this has been going on for a month. I have received zero money to hold the bike.

I have decided to ride the UH200 Burgman for the next month or two, then if I still miss the 650, a new leftover 2016 Burgman. As it stands now, the baby Burgman will fit my needs, at least for the time being.
