Well that went out the door!
Tonight I installed a chrome License plate cover with turnsignal LED's and LED Brake light!.....I gotta stop or MOmmy will shoot me! :(

I raised the Drivers backrest 4 inches....(hit Easy Button!) :)

Oh yea broke off the two tabs on the tail piece cover...Great more money!

I installed a Throttle cruise control ....works great! And finished the CB radio install!

I'm done!

 Yea....Right!

hehehe

KCK,
Yeah right! Sure your done....for this week! What about satellite radio and GPS? I'm still a newbie and those will be priority projects for me.
Other toys will include a Clearview windshield, Givi box and Utopia back rest.

I am curious about the throttle cruise control you installed. Which brand did you use? Do you like it?

Got it on there...hehehe

Check the gallery... for more....
The throttle rocker was nice but it needed cruise control of some type....
I'm not sure who made it it was 21.00 I'll see if I can find out!

Is there a Burgman under there?

Yes, SG, I think there is. :)

KCK: I just hope all that stuff doesn't block your forward view too much nor takes your eyes off the road for more than 1-2 seconds at a time.

Be careful out there on the Mean Streets. ;-)

Holly Molly KCK! I love the idea of having my camera on the bike (but I only have one that I truly like to shoot with, and my bike sits outside... would worry I would forget it on the bike (considering I forget my cell phone out of the front pocket all the time!)) --- But I wanted to ask you about your navigation system- what brand is it? Do you love it? If so why or why not? And cost effectiveness? My finance talked about getting me one for christmas (he says he doesnt want me driving around lost half the time... I still like it, but hes right-- I cant always call the state police (hes a statie) when I am lost! but its fun to try!)
Oh btw- in Pennsy it is illegal to have your liscense plate covered with a frame (it is ticketable --and I am pretty sure it is a first offense in which you can be pulled over for it) Not sure about your state. Dont want a fellow burgie ticketed!!!
Thanks for the info

It's Garmin 2610 with a Ram Mount system
I love it for traveling to places I have not been. Awesome because it tell you what road you are on where you need to turn to get to where you want to go.
This unit was a 900.00 unit. Bought it on Ebay for 385.00
had to send the first unit back to garmin for defects but they sent me a brand new unit at No Charge.
I bought this unit after I researched all the units I could have purchased. This unit has a Compact Flash card which I ungraded to a 1 Gig card so I could get the USA on it!
The 2620 is a great unit also but has a hard drive and I was afraid that the vibration of the bike woould ruin the Hard Drive...So thats why I bought the 2610. I've had no other problems with it and would never travel with out it now. It also gives me locations to hotels, restaurants, and exciting sites in the area I'm in. It really doesn't get any better.
You can attach a speaker to it or plug it into your helmet. It even warns you your turn is coming in 500 ft and much more. I promise you'll love it.

The plate cover I used has emergency turn lights and brake lights on it...I don't think they'll say a word! Hopefully!\hehehe

Take care . God Bless, and enjoy your ride!

We had a saying when I was in the Goldwing world, Went like this "They all look the same when they come off the assembly line, Yet you will never find 2 that look alike".
I see that is the same in the Burgman World!
For me next is a Russell Day long saddle, a VIP trunk, some street glow..........Then whatever looks good!!!

I recently installed the "raise the seat rest to mid back height" thing. WOW, I'm bummed I waited so long. HUGE difference I really like it.

14,000 miles, runs strong, still trucking. I also recently installed hand gaurds from a AN400, big mistake buying those. They block vision to the mirrors big time. Anyone wanna buy some 400 hand gaurds? Installed once and removed. 8)

I just gotta replace that front tire, better log off and order a new one tonight.

I paid $81.50 plus 14 shipping on e-bay for the silver gaurds. I will sell them for $50 plus $14 shipping.

By the way, bidding was fierce on e-bay, I thought I was going to loose them several times! Seems to me they list for about $120 or so from the dealer.

e-mail me for details: club427@msn.com

Burgman is way too much fun not to make modifications

It's impossible not to make modifications to the Burgman. First of all, it looks really cool with the mods and it makes it even more fun. This scooter was made for modifications. Just check out my list on my scoot. JC
