Hello all,

I just purchased a K7 400 and love it. I am thinking about wiring in a GPS but I don't want to mess with the 12 volt plug in the glove box. I noticed that Suzuki has a factory kit for the heated grips. Is this a plug and play installation? I would like to know if there is a free socket available for plugging in the grips so I can fashion a plug for my GPS without breaking or tapping wiring. Does anyone have or know of where I can get the instructions for the factory heated grips. Thanks a bunch.

Take the Cover off at the Bottom of the Speedo and with cover off there should be a Connecter. like JT, said it's on the Right side..
There are 2 Connecters you can't miss them there's Caps on them.

Does it happen to show where this connector is located and maybe something like what color. I can't seem to physically find it. Thanks
It does not show where it's physically located. I'll have to check the wire colors when I get home.

I have to ask, do the heating element components reside underneath the material your hand touches, or are they inter molded within the grip material itself? If possible, I'd like to use the elements in combination with iso grips using thermal transfer material, but don't know if it's possible.

hmm, oh well, perhaps the hand guards and some gerbings gloves will work as I prefer the look of the isogrips.
