Is it possible to order any of the chrome accessories seen on the Executive Burgman? Like the chrome bar ends or chrome cover on muffler? If so, where do you get them? JC

The only Suzuki chrome I've seen her in the US is the chrome nose piece.
For the 650 it part 99000-99094-10g, and sells for about $120 online.

Other chrome not available here, that I know of.

Do a search on Dr.Suda for details on ordering some pieces from Japan.

If you will check the attached link it shows the accessories for the "Skywave 650 "in Japan (our Burgman) that Dr.Suda can probably get for you.He works off of people advising him of the suzuki parts numbers that he in turn orders and ships to the USA.

http://www1.suzuki.co.jp/motor/skywave6 ... ories.html

The front chrome nose piece is available in the USA , already, from suppliers such as : http://www.oneidasuzuki.com.

The chrome piece for the exhuast is available , overseas, from Dr.Suda as one forum member had already received one.

The chrome end weights would probably require either a specific parts number fiche by Suzuki, overseas ,or maybe one of our Canadian forum user could find one out for you.

Note: this post may be moved to Aftermarket and Accessories forum ,by one of the moderators, for better classification and viewing, so if it cannot be found here ,check that forum.

While not the chrome accessories from the Executive Burgman 650, Ian at Two Wheel Touring does carry chrome rails for both the Burgman 650 and 400, as well as, other non-Suzuki maxiscooters. While not my particular cup of tea, lots of folks like the look and the protection these chrome rails offer.

In fact, I even know of a specific case where a deer clipped a Honda Silver Wing equipped with these rails. The rider kept the scooter upright and the rails prevented any damage from occuring to the S'Wing, though one of the rails was bent.

Link directly to the Suzuki chrome rail page at twtouring.com: http://www.twtouring.com/suzuki.htm

Hey Dennis
what is the link for Dr. Suda as I see two or three items I would like to get for my 650
chrome mirrors, carpet for the over the engine and the chrome muffler cover.

Stephen,

Dr.Suda's site is : http://www.drsuda.co.jp/company.html

It is my understanding that if you e-mail Taka he replies in pretty good english. The down side to ordering is that shipping costs can be on the high side however, remember it comes from Japan, you're getting parts that are not available here ,and most have reported receiving items in 3 to 5 days.

I was interested in the chrome mirror covers for my 650 since I have the chrome front nose piece but I can't find the mirror covers anymore on the Suzuki sites . Seems they are no longer listed. So I took that it is discontinued and no longer available . :( If you do contact Taka and find that the mirror covers can be found , let me know :!:

E-mail direct is : sales@drsuda.co.jp You can address it to "Taka".

crome parts

Im the one who ordered the crome nose peice the crome muffler shield and the center carpet peice. It was a pleasure dealing with Dr Suda.I found out that it was better calling over to Japan. If you do ask for Mr. Taka he speaks somewhat better English. There prices are good and the exchange rate was fair.He ships fast.I just didn't want to give out my credit card number that is why i called.Hope this helps any questions let me know. They call it a skywave 650.

Steve,

Well actually I assumed (dangerous word  ) that they were covers.

I could not exactly recall the cost from when they were shown in the listing, as the other parts are now on the Skywave 650 page, but it appeared that their price was consistent with the cost ( in yen) of the chrome garnish (front nose piece).

I've tried to re-locate any listing for the item but just cannot locate it any more.Seems I last saw them listed during the summer, but it is since gone now that I had learned about Dr. Suda being an option of being able to get these items from overseas.

But, I would feel that they are most probably a "add on" type item ,like the front piece.

Are there any forum users abroad ,viewing here, with this option on their 650?? Would be nice to know....

As far as the part numbers, I have seen in some examples that purchasers have refered to the Suzuki page above so that Taka could confirm the right item was being ordered.

So far ,everything I have heard has been nothing but positive in respect to getting the right item they wanted ,in a quick amount of time.

I'm interested, but I'd have to find out the price first. I want the chrome bar ends and the muffler cover the most, undamaged of course. JC

English Translation

Many Japanese pages on the web can be translated into English if you access them thru Google to "translate". The translations are a little rough, but will get you thru. Dr Suda's page doesn't translate well because most of the "text" is actually burried in graphics. In order for Google to translate, it must be text and not on an image.

As far as sending credit card numbers, like many people I have several email addresses (Cox, Yahoo, email.com etc). For Mr. Taka, I told him that I would send the CC number in three emails, which I did. He was fine with that and let me know when he had received and assembled the numbers.

Looked something like:

xxxx xxx xxxx 1234
3456 xxx xxxx xxxx
xxxx 4567 3345 xxxx

If you get what I mean!?
:D
