Nowhere on the packaging is the word plastic nor multi use cleaner is mysteriously not there either.
People millions of times misuse products every day. That product ruined a 260.00 BMW windshield it caused the windsheild to crack to internal looking like a cracked marble even in scale.. This was a warning to only use this product within its stated use in directions GLASS. MISUSE AS YOU PLEASE. FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. GOOD DAY.

I've been using Mother's Plastic polish for years, with good results I even use them on my overhead exterior light with good results, however finding Mothers Polish can be hard to find, so I switched to Turtle Wax Headlight Cleaner and sealant works great with no left over residue dust
