Wanted to buy: a speedometer for my 08 Suzuki Burgman 400. If anyone has 1 of these along with the bezel and windshield mount let me know. I am trying to resurect the dead and so far so good.

I just bought one on ebay for $125! there were about 4 others listed when i bought mine have you looked on there yet?

Yes, I did check ebay.... the reason I am asking on the forum is the price is of over $250.00 (and up) for a speedometer was a bit high. I still have time to look around but want to get this item bought and installed. I found one seller that I do not like to deal with had one for $150.00, but the speedometer looked pretty beat up.

I think 2007-2009 are the same.

I think i saw the one your referring too, its for sale for $150 and the seller pin wheel cycles right? that gauge looks decent besides the face plate having minor scuffs on it, but thats very easy to fix! I repair that on all the older speedo face plates i come across when doing a restoration ect. all of them are made of arcrylic which is easily sanded and polished..Normally all you have to do is wet sand the face with some 2000 grit wet sand paper then go to 3000 grit wet sand then buff with a buffer and compound.. it will look good as new! just giving you some options to maybe save ya some cash! good luck with everything!

great! I think you made out pretty good on that piece, it was much cheaper then all the other listings and i assure you that polishing out that lens will be a piece of cake! good luck getting your burgman back together! im in the process myself of piecing back together my burgman that was stolen and partially stripped..
