There is a 6 pin connector under the cover below the dash on the right side that is capped off. It has 4 wires going to it, black/white, white/red, orange/white, and grey.

What is it for? What do the wires do? I assume the black/white is the ground.

That sounds like the connector that is used to put the computer in dealer mode to check FI codes.

I was looking for a place to tap for the power to my GPS. If that connector is for that purpose, I do not think it would be a good place tap into. I connected a multi meter to it and got 11.7 volts on one wire, 10.3 v on another wire, nothing on the third wire. On 650s, I tap the power outlet wires but the 400 outlet wires are very hard to get to even with the dash removed.

Thanks for the reply.

Another way Guys, Is to Add a Relay, and wire the + - Into it , and Plug it into the Tap Cig/tail light, and from there you can connect the Battery + - ,Wires to the Relay, and use it for All Keyed Activation,All Future Accessories, With out having to Damage the Ignition System, Watt Limit.
