I'm wondering if any of you could give me some information on how to wire a Coimagination brake light flasher to my 2007 Burgman 400 Brake lights. It looks like the wires going to the battery/switch: 2 black wires with white stripes, a Black wire, and a green wire. The flasher has a blue, red, and black(The red wire is designated as "in," the blue wire is indicated as "out," and the black wire is the battery negative. I'm not sure what "in" and "out" mean.)I've been trying to figure this out for hours and tried to check out the wiring diagram for the scooter, but aside from blowing a fuse with my tester, I came up with nothing! Thanks much for your help, Bob

Bob.......Not sure what type of brake lite flasher you have BUT "in" would be the wire leading from the battery and "out" would be the wire going from the flasher to the brake lights.... Hope that helps a bit

Your going to find the wire that feeds to both brake lights and cut it. The input is the wire with power when you use the brakes and the output wire goes to your brake lights, the black one goes to ground.

It;s really nice when someone posts a question - They get a few good answers and no response from the original poster at all.....?????? It would be nice if we knew how he or she made out with the project.

Thanks to the responder who mentioned that I did not post a response. I have been sending private messages to people who respond to my question because I always appreciate the input and help. In the future I will send a private message AND a public response. In any event, I did figure out the wiring ... my brake light is flashing. I decided to wire in only one brake light to flash and the other to be solid. Thanks again. Great forum. Bob

Could that be misinterpreted as a turn signal?

Bad idea to have only one brake light flashing for the same reason Scooter_Maniac said.
