I am 6'3 but have a long torso, as my inseam is only 31", and I cannot find a good leather riding jacket that fits well. I wear a 2xl tall and have ordered 3 different ones and have sent them all back because they are too short. Anyone know if they make an extra-tall or if someone makes a leather riding jacket that is a true-tall size? Pauljo, I know you are quite tall, any ideas?

Thanks!

Hey Kelly - check with http://www.foxcreekleather.com they did my buddy justice. sent him two or three jackets so that he could get sized right (they paid the postage!).

Justa thought.

You may have a bit of a tough time finding something in leather unless you go custom made, but here's a couple of suggestions:

As Pete said, Foxcreek is very good quality but they don't have armour if that is a concern for you.

Aerostich, while not leather, make extremely durable well armoured gear and do offer alterations. http://www.aerostich.com/riderwearhouse.store

You may want to check some other forums for suggestions as well.

Kelly,

Believe it or not, I've bought all of my motorcycle jackets "off the rack". Every now and then I'm at a dealership or a leather store and I spot something that fits. When I do, I generally don't pass it up. Unfortunately, I've got at least two jackets too many - never wear them. I gave one to my son a couple of years ago when he had a motorcycle. He keeps trying to give it back, but I won't take it. I figure sooner or later he'll get another bike. I look at the other as a spare - if something should happen to one of the three that I do wear.
