My dealer has 3 2013 AN400s in crates. I am going to get a 400, just wondering when the new models are going to be out. Might be worth waiting for to get a better price on one of the 2013s.

If it 's anything like the past few years then they usually announce them at the fall motorcycle shows (Octoberish) and then the dealers will start getting them in the spring. That is if they order any, if they still have inventory of 13's don't look for them to get 14's any time soon. They don't move as fast as cars and hardly ever will you see them have year end clearance sells. :(

IIRC 2010 they ordered ZERO, because of the recession they still had tons of 08 and 09 models in the warehouse here in the USA.

According to a news report of an interview with the head of Suzuki sales in Europe in 2012, the 650s were going to be re-designed in 2013 and the 400s re-designed in 2014. The first half proved to the correct.

I guess we will know in the 1 to 8 months.

It looks like the article was incorrect. The Suzuki web site has the 2014s and there is no re-design. Maybe 2015?

I just noticed that the 2014 650 doesn't come with the passenger backrest as standard. It's now an option. Never really cared for it anyway.

Bummer. I'll be looking for a good, used new-design 400 in about seven years. Lol.

The thing that I don't like about the 2014 models is there is no color choice. The 650s will only be available in Mat Gray (gray primer). The 400 is only available in Black. The 200 will only be available in Silver.

If I was in the market for a new 650, I would look for a 2013 because of the color. White is not my favorite color but it beats the look of gray primer.

I haven't seen any 2013 650's at my dealer yet. They still have a left over 2011.:eek:

You can get that 2011 at a killer price. Offer $8500 plus tax tag and title. I bet they take it.

I like the 2013 650 redesign over the previous years. White isn't my favorite color but it beats that flat gray "primer" look on the 2014.

Also, the 2013 had a major upgrade in design so Suzuki may not fully redesign until '15 or '16 now. If the 650 gets more HP and bigger tires than Ill need to trade that '13 650 in.

I was at the dealer today and ask them if they were going to get in one of the new 200s. He said they planned to but as of yet they could not even order any 2014 models. He though Suzuki would open it up for orders sometime in November and they would start arriving after the first of the year.

Not know when 2014 be available, Suzuki Canada already have 2014 400 & 650 list on web site, this much earlier than past year.

Recommend list price exact same as 2013 model.

I think you will find that all the White ones are Pearl White, the 2013 model Pearl White is a whiter white then the 2012 models and back are. It does look chalkie white under the dealership lights, but put it outside and it's Pearl White for sure. I am speaking of the 650's, I don't know too much about the 400's except they have had some bright colors over the years.

I went down to the dealer here and he had a off white, it's not was wide, and you can move it EZ, .....
I don't quite understand what you are saying. Can you or someone explain ?

Maybe what was said is, the 2013 comes in a different white color, so I guess he perceived the color as such, the front looks wider too me, but may not be, because the front faring is different then earlier models, and the transmission was made easier to push around, ie. not as much drag when pushing as the earlier models are. These were some of the upgrades to the new 2013 Burgman 650.
