I normally use a WIX 51359 just because I can get them at the local auto parts store. If I happen to make the 30 mile run to the Suzuki shop at around the time I am planning to change oil I might get the OEM filter.

I have used the WIX 51359 before but am currently using the Emgo 10-55660. Last time I bought 10 of the Emgo's and had them shipped to my house, will probably do the same when these run out.

Thanks for your input everyone. I was able to cross reference the WIX 51359 filter to a Napa equivalent model #1359 which I'm going to give a go and is in stock at my local dealer at very fair price. You think WIX makes the filters for Napa, things that make you go Hmmmmmm.

Almost all Wix filters can cross reference to NAPA by dropping the first number. Wix 51515 is a NAPA 1515, a WIX 51359 is Napa 1359. That is the filter I have used most until I bought a bunch of the EMGO ones for $4 each.

Man this was a close one. Most oil filter topics end up talking about those trashy ORANGE filters.

great, am going to order the same, 4 or 5 of them, well worth the $4.00 price tag, and it seems to get a lot of good reviews from real world owners.
They are out of stock in a lot of places though, dang, especially at Powersport Superstore that sells them for $4.00 a piece.
The OEM filter is ridiculously expensive now at $15.00 a piece... it made sense at $8-9.00.

Suzuki OEM filters are good; you'll never go wrong using one. If you don't like the dealer price (they can be $$$), go to eBay. Otherwise, I like NAPA Gold, WIX, or K&N.
