Indeed.
I’ve played guitar with a few bluegrass musicians but my preference is for Zydeco (Cajun) which most people find a bit hard core and is more French in nature.
My music library covers a lot of the world, some you might like, Japanese Taiko drummers, Balkan gipsy, Ukrainian Bandura, Africa, Middle East....

Zydeco - Balfour brothers “Parlez-Nous A Boire“ (let’s talk about drinking) was in the film Southern comfort

Taiko - Kodo drummers - O-Daiko. “Heartbeat” drums are very moving live and close up. Very physical and you feel rather than hear them, its a very moving experience. It has a long and complex origin/history.
Taiko features in a great film “ Isle of dogs” and others

I’ll stop there :)

Taiko Kodo drummers were at our Farmers Market last weekend. GREAT show.

My daughter married a 1/2 Japanese 1/2 English man and their son looks so much Japanese. We took him down there but at 20 months old all he wanted to do was run up the hills and swings.

A neighbor gave him that trike with the duct taped tire. I found two NEW old stock "Hotwheels" hard plastic tires on Ebay, $200 plus $35 shipping from Taiwan.

That trike has a pump up front tire and a Cantilevered brake system found on high end bikes in the 1990's. And it has a "Free wheel" hub so when he stops pedeling the crank stops too. Most "Big Wheel" trikes did not free wheel and as coasting they pumped the peddles.
When you twist the right 'Throttle' it REV's up.... Vroom Vroom and has a tachometer.

Thanks for the tip …..

I watched this series and appreciated it :

I haven’t watched the series on the area, but I’ll check it out sometime. The move I listed, is a documentary on the woman who refused to move, afterwards, and shows incredible human spirit. Anyone I’ve recommended this film to has been equally impressed.

Zulu. Jingoistic hsitory bending film about a few Welsh guards defeating a Zulu war party. Using black powder Martini Henry (Enfield) rifles, there are a few naughty bits, they couldn't source enough of the right rifles so some of the "soldiers" in the back ground had SMLE's with the mag removed.

Imagine what they could have done to the attacking party if they had SMLE's issued... It was already carnage, it would have been plain murder.

But a cracking film all the same. Makes you proud to be British.

Seen the great escape a couple times. Good movie, especially the bike scene in the field. Inspired a stupidly funny weekly show , Hogan’s Heroes, which unfortunately is one of the few shows not available for free on my Roku. Even my wife laughs at Colonel Klink, and Shultz, and she doesn’t like war stuff. Hopefully on Roku soon

One of my favorite tv shows. They don't make them like it anymore.

Hogan's Heros was BANNED in Germany. The American Armed Forces TV "AFN" could not show it. I had the VHS of the seasons but have miss-placed it over the years.

But..... DVD @ $24.99
