Four instead of one, and I'm not bothering with summaries:

Big Thumbs Up for Fantasia …..

I had a girlfriend take me on a date .. a Dinner and a Disney Movie ?
I forget what we ate but I’ll never forget that movie
we had the entire theater to ourselves…. (1)

I remember telling everyone after:
“Before they close the lid on your casket see the movie Fantasia.”

(1) it was a multi-plex in a small agri town and you exited near the screen at the bottom of the theater to the parking lot … I thought Men In Black would be ushering us into a spaceship or paddy wagon.

I can't single out just one movie - I like different movies for different reasons.
Нere are some movies:

Sin City (2005)
The Dark Knight
Forrest Gump
American History X
Dallas Buyers Club
Joker
Bean (1997)
The Cold Summer of 1953 (USSR)

And this list is not over....

Dave, gout stopped my beer drinking last year, but I used to drink a lot of Taiwan beer in the light blue and silver can. It's made with rice and for me the best beer I've ever drank. Of course the last beer I drank was my favorite. Used to drink a lot of San Miguel when I could get it but it's a little to pricey now.
Now, I've settled for Wild Turkey and no GOUT while watching my favorite movie. (Staying on Tract)

To those who have seen Micmac, is this in English? Use of subtitles? I see some intriguing movies and glad this was started.
I will watch Micmac this afternoon, after my chores are complete.

Heads up to the Aeronautical Crowd here ….. The movie ….Runway 34…..
Free with Amazon Prime.

It’s a foreign film with english subtitles but with lots of english dialogue.

I see many good films available with Amazon Prime. Unfortunately, many with subtitles. I don't know why it irritates me so badly, but I can't seem to sit through one.

Mimacs...the trailer looked good...in French with subtitles, that's a no/go for me.

Looks like I choose "Lucy" for this afternoon with my wife after I finish my chores and final touches on bath remodel. Looking forward to it.

I’ve probably enjoyed two dozen foreign films …. if the movie is good the subtitles melt away with no recollection of them the following day…. It was just a good movie.

SemBurg,

Let me recommend this one for you … The Broken Circle Breakdown. Free on Amazon Prime

It was this Dutch movie that made me appreciate American Bluegrass Music more.

One third of the movie is sung in perfect Appalachian English.

Great version of that song
It’s in your DNA….

“The origin of bluegrass music can be traced to the people who came to America in the 1600s from Ireland, Scotland, and England and brought with them basic styles of music that are generally considered to be the roots of modern bluegrass music.”
