Saturday I finally did it, I bought a new ride. After much research and discussion with myself about spending the money, I settled on the CanAm and bought a new 2012 Spyder RT-S SE5. I don't have a picture to post but it's the blue one. Blue I discovered must be the most popular color because the dealer had 2 other blue one waiting to be picked up. I wasn't sure at first about the seating positon and thought my old knees might not like it, but no problem, in fact I find the bike very comfortable. I took it out Sunday for about a 100 mile ride and did not experience any of the leg cramps that a ride of that length sometimes causes me on the Burgman. I also found the seat to be very comfortable although I will be getting a sheepskin cover for it soon and a backrest might be nice. The steering is much different that a 2 wheeler, I'm told it's alot like riding a 4 wheeler ATV, so I will have some habits to change. I really think I will enjoy this new machine and will do some longer distance traveling on it.
I may or may not sell my Exec, not sure yet but either way I'm not going to leave this Board altogether, because a lot of the info on this board applies to riding in general and not just the Burgman.

I'll post a picture later this evening.

Congrats on your new ride, enjoy it! BTW: I just read in the new Cycle World that all Spyders from '08 to '12 have a recall on the gas cap, you might want to make sure your have the corrected one.
Ride safe

Well I tried to add some pictures but couldn't do it. I thought all I had to do was copy and paste them but that didn't seem to work. Any suggestions

Tried that myself, several years ago...

off my computer screen... :?
Haven't tried since...

NICE!!!

Now we can have Ed order front tires for us to run on the rear. Those Kenda 165/65 HR14's are nice.
