Picked up 8 medium boxes from the Post Office today and brought them home under my seat. Just because I can! 
Could have fitted a few more no problem.

it took me all of 2 days after purchasing my new 400 to figure out that I can fit an 18 pack of cheap domestic beer under my seat.. or a helmet, a 12 pack, and three tall boy 24 Oz cans of American swill. I get a lot of amazed looks when I walk out the parking lot of the Circle K, pop the seat and drop my 18 pack. Life is good.

My wife soon figured out that a case of wine and a couple of bags of crisps can go under our seat ....
