If you want to influence scooter design or at the extreme persuade Yamaha to import the TMAX - you may just may be in with a chance.

Oh follow Bill's link

Couple things I learned when I tried a T-Max.

First, you'd better be tall because the seat is high and wide. With a 30.5" inseam I could only tiptoe on both sides. I got better footing on my R1100GS even with the seat in the high position.

Second, there isn't that much underseat space. Only enough for one helmet and some soft items such as a rainsuit, etc.

Third, the windscreen is low and kinda far away. I don't think you'd get much in the way of weather protection.

All in all, it handled great, but with only 500cc's, it didn't have enough umph in my book to compensate for the comfort/convenience shortcomings that resulted from Yamaha's use of an aluminum perimeter frame, etc....

That was fun. I told them I bought an Aprilia Atlantic (OK I lied) because they didn't have the T-Max in the US. It would be true if there was a dealer near me & if I could trust the company.
