Installed the utopia backrest yesterday and rode with it today(4 april). it really does make the ride more comfortable. Utopia istructions call for removing the seat which I did not do. It makes installation a little more difficult, but the real problem was getting the bolts through the foam on the seat so they could be screwed into the brace holding the backrest. Patience is required and strong hands. Well worth the cost and hassel. If you are considering one, I think its worthwhile.

If you install the Utopia backrest and don't like it, doesn't it leave a hole right thru your existing backrest? Or is there a way to try it out before creating new holes in your existing seat :?:
