More than the 2012 price of BASE MSRP $9,899 I'd say.

Fulton, I suspect it won't make any difference what the price is. ;) I bet people will be lining up to buy it if the price is anything reasonable.

I saw a Suzuki rep. at a dealership in Long Island, NY. He said the price should be about $10,500. He also said that there's an issue with Suzuki' USA's bankruptcy that is contributing to the delay of delivery for the 2013 Burgman (and other bikes). Additionally, there may be an issue with the colors, as USA buyers may only have the option of Black (as in Canada).
Was he fulla crap? Who knows. But the consensus is that delivery will begin in May, 2013.

Just been looking over here in the UK and the cheapest I can find is £8900.
Wait until November they will bite your arm off for a sale and cash flow.

I had been looking at the Burgman for two years. I road "everything" including the BMW scooter but this was the bike for me. In June 2012 the "base price" was $9899.00. Starting in November 2012 I visited the dealer every other week. This dealer had two 650's. One 2011 with 2000 mile and one new 2012. I anticipated a price reduction would come in December 2012 or January 2013. I continued to visit the sales manager reminding him I was waiting for the price to drop. Technically the Scooter was a year old! I kept taking the 2011 demo for rides. In late February 2013 I wore them down and bought the new 2012 Burgman with zero mile for $8200.00. I paid a service charge but much less is taxes and registration was included!

So,,, I purchased the extended 60 month service pack, 2 good helmets, very nice jacket and gloves for a grand total was $10.200 out the door. I think I made a very good deal on a left over but new bike. The dealership has my loyalty and will continue to buy all my needs through them.

This Canadian site quotes $10,799.00 as the price, and April, 2013 for delivery:

http://manitoba.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicl ... Z454744946[/quote

This site also reads -

This low sale price includes a $300.00 rebate currently offered from Suzuki during our 'Spring Sales Event' which expires July 2, 2013 and is a finance price with our dealership.

- bringing the regular MSRP total to $11,009, the same as listed on the CA Suzuki website. But if you click on the 2012 model on the same site it lists the MSRP as $11,009. Hard to belive the price for the older model 2012 is the same as the 2013.

$11099.00? That's getting a little ridiculous. I guess they expect the scooter buyers to get them out of bankruptcy. The sad thing is, at a time when more Americans should be buying and riding scooters instead of big cars, they are pricing people right out of the game. Even with all the changes from the earlier model years, I think there will be a lot of leftovers this time next year. I had seriously thought about trading in my '11 on a new one based on the changes, but for this kind of money, I think I'll hang on to mine for awhile. (Bike and money).

I think everything is ridiculous today. Look at the price of cars and SUV's.

I suppose with Suzuki's car division tanking in NA they are looking to maximize margins.

I totally agree. The price is ridiculous. YET...my dealership here (Long Island, NY) has SEVEN people who've already left deposits for the 2013. He's ordered 10 bikes. With such a waiting list...it makes it more difficult to get much off the MSRP.

Your dealer has not ordered any. Suzuki has not even released the ordering for the 2013 650. They can't order and they don't even know when it will be that they can. I have had a deposit at the dealer for over 2 months and he is ready to give my money back because the is no word when or if he will get one of the rumored 400 coming to the US. I have been told by Suzuki it would be March then April and then May. Now I am hearing end of June or July. I did a exchange rate with a Europe pricing and the retail was $11090 but I assumed the extra was for the heated seats and grips that Suzuki says we don't get in the US market. So they are tacking on $500-$1000 just cause and black only. I give up on the 2013. Disappointing.
I am going for a 12. I can get one for $9000 total including tax and reg.
