Hello everyone!

I'm an owner of a UH125 Burgman (still a Burgman...) and I was looking every where a bit for a semi DYI phone holder.
As there were not that many 'cheap but reliable' alternatives for a 125 model, it seemed for me that almost a hopeless search and that I had to opt for an expensive accessory (+50 dollars) like this one:source

But after searching for a couple of months, I found this in our local Multimedia store:
:

Note: I took the version with an universal phone holder. It was priced for around 15 dollars.

The only thing needed was:
- the holder
- the glueable vertically adjustable footstand for the holder.

This resulted in:

Downside (?):
- Depending on your phone and handgloves, you will be unable to operate your phone. This being said; it is ALWAYS ADVICED to no operate your phone while driving.
- Sunglare.
- Form factor is somewhat limited...

Good idea. I ended up buying a RAM mount universal GPS holder a few years ago. I can use it on any of the three GPS devices I have equally well. The RAM holder is more than you paid for yours. I wish I'd been as creative as you were.

is a suction based mount or did you stick it on?

It is not suction based.
It is a small plastic accesory that glues itself on my steering.

However, it is also possible to have it as a suction based mount.
On the left side of the steer, there is a free space on the 125 burgman.
I glued a flat based accesory, which then allows me to attach a suction based mount on it.
