Hi,
I ride a Piagio x9 250 in the UK and Honda PCX 150 and now a Burgman 250 in Thailand. I live a 50:50 split between the 2 countries, staying 2 months at a time.
I have recently bought a 1995 Burgman with a few issues, the main one being that it has never been legally Registered in Thailand. It was purchased at an auction of custom seizures and has been ridden illegally. I hope to try to legalise it, but there's lots of paperwork and possibly greasing of palms to be done.
On the ride home it did get very hot...into the red, then dropped to half way. I think it's a sticking thermostat, plus water and oil levels were low. I have no speedo or odo and I think the front pads are low. I was told the battery was no good, but I put it on charge last night and it seems fine for the moment.

I'm sure I'll be asking lots of dumb questions and the English term is often different to American, so please be patient.

Sounds like an exciting job if you get to split your time between two beautiful countries. Wish I could do something like that!
