This is just a single folded sheet showing all the suzuki bikes. I notice that the 650 has no passenger backrest, also the weight is 'TBC' (to be confirmed?)

How interesting cause the US model has one and that they still use the "Executive" moniker. I wonder if it's some sort of mistake as I believe some markets still offer a standard model one.

I've just discovered this on Youtube: "New 2013 Suzuki Burgman 650 ABS Executive Scooter" Any changes are explained on this short video and it looks like the lack of a backrest was an error.

My understanding is that here (US) they're selling one model, which has all the features of the past Executives, there is no 650.
In Europe the 2013 "650" will be our version of the "2013 Executive" sans the backrest.
Europe's Exec. will also have heated seats and grips (which I've read aren't all that great).

They've been selling one model in the US since 2011 which was the Executive model. For 2013 the dropped the Executive name in the US and call it simply 2013 Burgman 650 ABS.

The OEM heated seats and grips are absolutely fine and function as you would expect.
I never thought I suffered from a cold ass but I am a convert - it is kind of nice warming up the dangly bits.

I'm at a total loss as to why mgmt saw fit to not include heated grips & seat in the USA!!!!!
And I do not think they ever have except as an accessory add-on.

The UK price is about a $1k higher than the preposd price here in the US. Maybe they are tring to keep the price below $10 k to be competitive in the states.whwn you do the Brit. Pound to US dollar it come out to $11700 for the Exec. In the UK.
I am tired of waiting. Called corporate and was told they have not left Japan yet and they know not why.

You have to wonder what is going on??? The above poster said they called corporate and was told the 2013s had not left Japan yet, if that is true how did someone in NC purchase one and posted it on this forum?

I was guessing he really got a 2012. Ok so I tracked down the dealer in Hendersonville, NC (Dal-Kawa Cycle Center) which is where the user said he was from and I called them. They do not have a 2013 650 in stock and do not have pricing or a date when they might get one yet. So either the guy is ending up with a 2012 650 or a 2013 400.
