My two-year standard manufacturers warranty expires in just over 2 weeks time. Me, joe_90 and one other have got a European road trip to Lake Garda in Italy (via France and Switzerland) planned in July and apart from once, I haven't really used it since last November, it's been under wraps at my place of work. I'd better give it a good run out before the warranty expires in case anything that could be changed under warranty shows up. In fact, I think I'll put the SH away and start using it for my daily commute - at least until the warranty is up. I've only covered just over 4500 miles from new and 1900 of those miles were in one week on a trip to Monaco last year. No faults ever (apart from one self-induced steering lock shutter cover problem) but at this sort of mileage, you wouldn't expect to have. Still, if its going to go wrong, please let it happen in the next couple of weeks and not halfway up some Italian mountain pass. :D

I had two plastic panels replaced under warranty for poor fit, one was the fuse box door and the other the engine maintenance cover. After a bit of time the fuse box door warped to end up fitting the same as the one that was replaced and the engine cover now fits worse than the original one but I'm out of warranty now. I should have known better being in the automotive business and seeing a minor issue that one could live with turn into a big ordeal after attempting repairs. Sometimes trying to get better parts than what's on the car can be a problem with shipping and all.

Well I don't think you'll have any issues but can't hurt to run her around since she's been sitting. I could think of less scenic places to have a problem though.
