iv been wanting something to have between the dash and the seat fro quick item retrieval . im doing some video with the gopro now and i needed a way to quickly grab it and have it in hand for spur of the moment videos. i thought about a tunnel bag and then it hit me... just a general bag hanging from the glove box door would work perfectly. so, i had a 6 pack style cooler on the shelf so thats what i used. no drilling of mounting anything, just open the glove box door and hang it, then shut the door. it stays put even at highway speed. can be quickly removed and stashed under the seat when not needed. why didnt i think of this sooner?

I did that before my trip last year and it was OK,,, not great... I got the scoot and I do not have to swing my leg high to get over the bag... Get a good trunk ,,, much better...
iv got a trunk but its no good for "quick" item retrieval. with this bag i can retrieve an item while riding if its on a straight road with reasonable risk.

i took a 200 mile ride with a friend on saturday. when riding with others, they arent going to want to stop every time u need to get a mint , candy or gum or whatever. several times i was able to reach into the bag while riding and grab an item i needed ( drink, toll money, chap stick, gopro, etc). i just would not suggest doing this in a curve or heavy traffic :)

this bag im using is stained and torn. now that i know it will meet the need, ill go to walmart and get a nicer black one. i think they r only about $5.00

Due to some med's I must take I need to drink a lot of water.
Don't like a Camel Back hanging around on my back so this solution may solve a dilema I have.
Just put the camel back water pouch in the cooler and run the tube up

I would want a tank bag on my 650 is for camera storage - and maybe for a bottle of water. I have all the storage I need other than that. I have always enjoyed taking pictures while riding - saves time - but having a large camera draped around my neck isn't pleasant for more than a half hour or so. I solved that problem with a recent camera purchase - a Pentax Q. Very cool camera - and very small - and it takes 1080P video up to 20 minutes at a time. Now I just need to get some kind of cruise control - one of the greatest features ever made for a motorcycle IMO. I don't miss the Harley but I do miss the electronic cruise control and the radio. An o-ring just isn't the same thing.
