Hey Everybody! I just created a new Yahoo group for the maxi-scooter community http://groups.yahoo.com/group/maxi_touring/ . I wanted to establish a group for anyone interested in touring on a scooter, specifically 250cc or larger. It is open to anybody regardless of make or model. I didn't want to clutter the forums here with info from other brands like Kymco or Piaggio, etc, but maybe Greengoose could add a touring forum just for the Burgmans? Anyway, you're all invited!

Not to burst your bubble, but there already is a group dedicated to touring on scooters. Scooter_Touring has nearly 200 members already.

Thanks for the info, Minnmax. I didn't know they were out there. I went to have a look (thanks for the link). Looks interesting...I'll need to join the group to see what's going on. My group only has four members right now (including yours truly) so if the scooter_touring group looks good I'll pass the info on to my members so they can join an established group.
