It hit the middle 80s here in NE Ohio. Blue skies and sunshine. Which one do I pull out of the garage for a solo ride. The 650 Burgman or the Bandit 600S. The Bandit prevailed.

As much as I enjoy the Burgman, there is something about riding the Bandit. I enjoy shifting and with the Hindle titanium can on it ,he sound is far superior to the Burgman. Winding it to 12,000 rpms isn't bad either.

Also, the Bandit weighs at least 80lbs less and does handle better.

I'm glad that I have to make such choices when I ride.

Hope all of you got out today

Sold my Bandit 600s recently. It's a rock-solid bike and you can probably run one of those things forever, but it was big and heavy for its engine size.

The Burgman is the most practical two-wheeler I've ever owned. You can do a Safeway shopping, you've got places for your sunglasses, camera, etc., and to do all of that on a motorcycle you'd be festooned with soft luggage, tailpaks, and a tank bag, all of which cost a lot of money.
