In my unending quest for cheap and effective alternatives to highway robbery, I found a Dupli-color paint that worked well in touching up road rash on the underside of my '03 650. The Dupli-color match is very close if not exact. I used it on the undersides of my lower leg guards, and without turning the bike upside down in the sun (which I don't intend to do on purpose) I can't say that it is exact, but it is very very close. It is Dupli-color "Millenium Silver" #E8801613W. There were lots of silvers, and all of the caps looked like good matches (I take off my fuel door and use it to compare with the cap colors) . I tried one that looked right, but it was too light. Then I found the Millenium Silver, which was just a little darker, and it worked. $3.33 at Wal-mart.
