I have a Haynes manual but I am not Nm or mm literate. What is the foot torque lbs # in English for the front drive pulley and the clutch pulley 24mm nuts? The scooter is a 2007 Burgman 400. Thanks

According to my handy-dandy "Pocket Ref" (4th Edition, Thomas Glover), you multiply Newton-Meter X 0.73756 = Foot Pounds.

BTW - this is a GREAT pocket reference. Published by Sequoia Publishers. Costs less than $10 at Amazon. Over 800 pages of tables, conversions, etc etc. Small enough to fit in your shirt pocket. Small print, though. Stuff you only need occasionally, but handy when you do. (Like now)

My son is an Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer and carries one with him at all times.

Here's the easy way:

1 N (Newton) = 0.224809 lbf (pound force)

1 m (meter) = 3.280840 ft (feet)

So 1 Nm = 0.224809/3.280840 lb·ft (pound
·feet)

or, 1 Nm = 0.73756 lb
·ft

If you have a smartphone, you can download a conversion app. I use mine frequently. They'll do weight, torque, distance, speed, temp, etc.
