I have a question for the forum members .Has anyone installed one or the other of these speedo units. I am especially interested as our Canadian Model Burgman indicates only KLM's .So have thought of perhaps picking up one these units while I am still in Fla. To show the MPH for my own information and peace of mind. If you are familiar what difficulties did you encounter during the install. They can be found on page 141 of the Aerostitch Catalogue. Thanks /RW

Thanks Bill I had not seen the other post ! Not sure that the units are the same but must be similar no doubt . I think I shall just flip a coin and take a chance as it seems like I may be the only other one considering thnis route.

I haven't used one on a motorcycle (yet), but I've found the best quality for the money has been Avocet.

RW,

There's some pretty interesting stuff in the Aerostich catalog. I've downloaded the PDFs from the website. Don't know if you have a newer print version or if the online is newer but the Sigma Speedometer was on page 133. If the online is newer, you might want to look thru it.

Heh. Seems I've been out of the loop too long. Can't find an Avocet anywhere.

I just ordered a PlanetBike Protege from BikeNashbar (at ten bucks off - $34.95). Looks decent. With four readouts, there's less stabbing at it. I like the temperature feature.
