I bought a GoldWing over the weekend and my buddy (a goldwing specialist) came over and we rebuilt the carbs and took it for a ride. Since he is more familiar he rode the 1984 GW and I rode the scoot. We did 200 smiles in the north Ga. mountains and I am pleased to say they both ran great. As a matter of fact he now wants to but it from me and was very impressed with the performance and condition of it. We'll see.....
The weather was great and so was the ride even though we hit a patch of rain. Here is a video of one of the sections.

PS- I have now been rained on for 32 straight Days.

This little 32 mile stretch of road about 10 minutes from my house is why I now have a Burgman. It took my friend all summer to talk me into getting off my BMW and riding his Burgman. I rode this road on his 650 on Thursday and bought a Burgman on Friday. The first part is the straight part of the road.

Nice road up there too.
Here is the 2nd section of the ride where we came up on a downed rider:

Music is an original recording by the OldWingnut and his girl!
