Down to the Twisted Throttle Open House in Exeter , RI from my house... about 85 miles down and probably 100 back (I took some back roads to get off the interstate).. reminds me about how much I love my Burgman and what a great road machine it is... All interstate (outside Boston to 495 to I-95 South, a bit more than 40 miles through Providence South) .. The guy with me had a brand new (about 700 miles on it) 2012 Goldwing that was very tricked out.. I was fine with my comfort max seat pad & bearcat backrest.. loved the ventilation from my Neotech helmet & the protection from my new Laminar Lip & Stich RC suit.. I feel that I now have a great combination for good long trips.. riding with someo one else was kind of a pain.. I was in the lead and had to be aware of what I was doing to him behind me.. was I going fast enough? too fast? etc.. and my throttle lock varies a lot in speed so I didn't use it too much.. There were about 2,000 people there and the 10% discount didn't hurt.. Picked up a nice Hi-vis dry bag.. and a tee shirt.. Way too crowded to consider a GPS system upgrade.. Great free burgers, Hot dogs and riding displays.. a real scene.

Good morning. I to travel rt95 often north and south from here in Maine. I certaintly know what your saying about traveling with another bike. Even traveling with my wife on her 400 and mine ,I am constantly watching in my rear view ,checking for speed, things in the road and wondering if it's time for a pee stop. I spend so much watching that I find myself not paying attention to myself. Anyway it's 3 more weeks till my annual trip out to NY/PA solo, 90% interstate. Travel at my own pace and not worry about anybody else. I find I'm much more of road conditions. Takes about 8 hrs and 400 miles with stops only for gas and food. If you,"Anybody" has never taken a long trip alone, You should give it a try and see how much you can enjoy yourself. Ernie

You two are poster children for either having a cb to see what the other rider need, wants, etc. Or stop every few miles to talk about how muchfun tou are having!!
