It's 0730 now and I'm about to go to Physical therapy. Soon as that's over Carolyn and I will be heading for Honda/Suzuki of Sanford to pick up our new AN650. Excited...You bet. Impressions and comments will follow. Afternoon weather looks quite bad with rain, 40 mph winds and storms possible so may not get much riding in but at least it will be home and in my shop where I can learn about it and beginning doing a few things perhaps. Here is my info from the Who Are You Page in case you didn't get there. Sure I'll be mostly on the 650 page from now on.

Hopefully our 05/B-650 will arrive within a couple weeks. Wife, Carolyn, and I are really excited. Last time I rode a scooter was on a Cushman in the mid 40's. Started riding motorcycles in the late 40's. Since then have riden, raced dirt, motorcross, cross country, enduros and competed on trial bikes and raced insanely at crazy lean angles around road courses on my personally modified race bikes. Do all my own work in my private shop. Total riding years around 57. Quit roadcourses two years ago while 70 yrs. due severe back problems that really slowed me down. Continued limited riding till recently when I had major back surgery. Have sold my motorcycles and now excited about the scooter. We are so looking forward to some peaceful touring and the many nice advantages of the Burgman. Finding this site was a wonderful experience and I have spent part of two days reading everything I could find here. Having been active on many forums I am truly impressed with this excellent forum and the interesting and very knowledgeable members. I'll try to be a productive member. At 72 am I the oldest member? Gee...sure hope so. Carolyn is a young trophy wife of only 69. Married 47 very happy years. Retired USAF
Lt. Col. and pilot with nearly 50 years flying USAF and experimental aircraft.

Good Luck Chuck.

Gee I thought I was the oldest. 63 this May!
Getting my burg then if not before (hopefully)

Enjoy your burg, even if all you can do with it because of the weather, is TLC it.

Lets us all know how you like it.

You sound like a heck of an interesting guy with a wealth of experience, Chuck. I'll be interested in hearing your backroad impressions of the Burgman 8)
