Some months ago, I installed a Bob's Wrist Rest throttle control in place of the bar-end on my AN650. It's stainless steel, and simple! And about $70 complete, from Bob's BMW in Maryland. This, along with a "Throttle Rocker clip-on device, solves that Burger "quick snap-back." I also have Hot Grips, for warm hands during cold days, but a heftier, man-size feel. The stock grips are for smaller hands than my size 9's.

While having a "you can't see it" trailer hitch installed up on my Burger in Kingsport,TN by genius scooter specialist Joe Wolfe, I was fascinated to hear that he also has adapted an aftermarket cruise control to Honda Helixes and Silverwings. J.C. Whitney is the source for the electronic unit. He states that it would be no problem to put on on my Burger. It only involves the speed sensor. Joe's phone is:
423-246-7076.

Regarding the cruise control Joe Wolfe can install, I think he mentioned about $150. Talk to him. Price for the part is $119in the Whitney catalog. The hand controls (buttons/levers) will be mounted on the handlebar cover, and surely will not be as pretty as we'd like. But for a real cruise control, who cares? Joe is one of those accomplished hobbyists; works on things like this partly for the love of it. He's not running a business.
