Hi..

I usually hang out in the pre-2007 AN400 forum... but i'm thinking of upgrading into a "new to me" 2008 650 Exec..

Anything i should look for.. is the 2008 a conversion year...

don't know much about the 650's, but figured if i can handle a 400, why not a 650..

let me know what to look for..

i appreciate the help

Welcome, most questions can be answered here as far as changes over the years http://burgmanusa.com/bkb/. Should be a good year I think Dave's had a couple of '08's. The 650 hasn't changed much (till 2013) over the years unlike the 400.

I put 19K miles on my first 08, Became a Crash Bike Dummy Dec 7th 2010. Bought another 08 with 305 miles on it Dec 24th 2010, am at almost 40,000 on it. The 08 seems to be a solid bike so far. If you have lurked on here long enough you know that some riders have CVT issues while other rides have none. I have had some issues on my first Burgman 650, a 2003 but we do not know if the problem was the common CVT issues. I still have it and may do a hotrod modifiction to it soon and will inspect the CVT inside and out.
