I make no comment on the merits of this other than that I am a great believer in a biker 'being seen'. I can, however understand why others may think this is an infringement and an attack on personal choice - you decide. :D[attachment=0:2nmxnakj]img061a.jpg[/attachment:2nmxnakj]

Not even when you click on it? (I have had to reduce it because of the nonsensical 800 limit that is allowed). If there is another way to send it then please tell me. :(

Got it when accessing via my laptop. :)

Yeah I hate these nanny state laws that have no evidential purpose.
If we prosecuted those who cause accidents by not looking, driving without due care and attention - with significant licence deprivation periods then the driving masses may just may take their responsibilities clearly. High visibility clothing, stickers add absolutely zero to road safety in a construct of irresponsible complacent drivers.

I do see what you mean but without wanting to get into an argument I do not agree. Not all drivers belong to that 'construct' and lots of them are bikers or ex-bikers. I firmly believe in being seen and would happily ride with a WW2 searchlight on my helmet if it were possible, although I think everyone should have the choice. :D

I wear high viz clothing but I do not think for one minute, nay, a nano second that it creates an aura of safety around me. I am just very aware that far too many are 'not looking'- and - if you are not looking you cannot see.

I agree. I don't assume that because I ride in hi-vis clothing I am therefore safe. I ALWAYS ride defensively. :)

Funnily enough that is the reason that the French are doing this - so that if a rider is in an accident at night he can be found more quickly (so they say)

I suppose if you come off the bike it gives the car driver something to aim for if they really want to finish the job.
The french live in a world of their own and unfortunately British rider usually have to pass through this place on the way to the continent!
Myself, i would sooner have hi viz gear on( which i wear) than have my helmet looking like the florescent pimpernel!
