The Dragon Tail is under repair and has a short section of controlled 1 lane traffic now. It bottles up traffic pretty good on weekends these days.
It was a little disappointing to sit in the heat and wait to ride all bunched up the rest of the way. Still a great ride during the week but weekends can be quite a different experience...more like a group ride.

Yep the Dragon (wasn't the Dragon) in the early 80's when I broke it in . I rode all up and down those roads, had most of them to myself too, camping and taking pictures (no Killboy either). I wont go near it now.

Was a lot of fun before, now I take a path less traveled. Can you say Appalachia?
