Hi..from Austin, Texas

At age 73 I have been riding a long time and have had numerous bikes but my current ride '05 Yamaha FZ1 riding position just got too much for this old body.. Traded today for a leftover 2011 Burgman 650...will be picking it up Monday....had a Yamaha Tmax for 15000 miles.. Hoping the burgman will be as good as or better than the Tmax...

Howdy, Hamie!
I grew up in Ft. Worth but am in Grand Junction, Colorado now. My wife decided wanted her own white 400 and, as there are not many to choose from around here I finally found one in Austin a few months ago. I got my brother in Dallas to check it out for me and ride it up to my mom's in Ft. Worth. I flew down and rode it back here (I had previously done this as a round trip on my 400). I wish I had had time to ride the hill country. You're lucky to be down that way!

My first 100 miles were painful... butt/low back brothered me the rest of the day.... will have to make some changes with the seat and probably suspension.. seemed pretty harsh on rough rodes...but will ride it more before doing anything...
