Today I installed a Bell gauge which reads temperature as well as time(redundant). The unit sells at Checker and I affixed to the right side of the instrument panel with the velcro that comes with the kit. The sensor was affixed to the underside of the right mirror housing. The excess cord was bundled and placed in the well next to the mirror. The sensor does not pick up any engine heat and seems to give a accurate air temperature while riding, which is important here in AZ.
