I have an old "traffic" model. I've noticed that the box is loose
on the mount. It appears that the plastic is wearing where the
box slides into the bracket. I normally leave the box on for
extended times. I'm contemplating putting some silicone rubber
in the connection points to close up the gaps.
I have seen several references to the low center of gravity on the Burgman 400. Exactly what does that mean and how is it better than say a higher center of gravity that is on another scooter like the Majeaty. Does it make a difference in ride quality?
I own a 2003 Burgman 400 VIN #132100307 with about 15K miles on her. Love the machine and have owned it for over twenty years. The right Glove Box/Compartment door shared off recently just above the hinge. Not able to repair with glue.
Any thought on where I can buy/get a replacement...
