My front brake lever has gotten stiff making braking an adventure. Is it ok to spray some WD-40 or Grafite on it? Where would I spray it?

There is a bolt that runs down through the lever holding it to the brake reservoir base. Remove the bolt and put a light coat of water proof grease on it.

+1. It's really easy. It's actually a screw / bolt with a nut on the end. So remove the nut, then unscrew the bolt. They do this so there is some play in the lever, but it's still secure. I lube it quite liberally and wipe off the excess when done.

I had a Yamaha Zuma start sticking on me, very dangerous. I just kept spraying, working it and cleaning. Be careful not to drip any cleaners or lubricant on your paint!
