My ignition switch is sticking to the on position, motor turns over just fine but head lights won't turn until switch pops out!

Are you talking about the ignition switch that the key goes into or the starter button you push to start the bike?

OK, that is not an unknown issue. First thing to try is to get something like original formula WD-40 and spray it up beside the button into the switch. That will often resolve the problem. If not you may need to take the starter switch apart and clean and/or repair it.
