I was in Micro Center (a computer retail store) yesterday looking for a splitter for the power plug on the 650, but I found something much better: a USB Car Charger for $5.99.

This is only 1.5 inches long and has a USB port and is rated a 1 amp. It says it is for smartphones, cameras and USB devices. If your GPS has a USB cable that you use to connect it to your computer this will work.

I have not looked at Best Buy or anywhere else yet, but I would think that other places would have a something like this.

And there was one car charger that had dual outputs so you could power your GPS and charge your cell phone at the same time.

I have one, but my USB cables all make it too long to shut the door.

Yes, I had that problem, but I tried several and found one that would just let me close the door.

I looked under GPS Accessories on EBay,
& found a power supply that hard-wired
into 12v...ran the wire up the handlebars
to my GPS...it now turns On & Off with
the key.
