My 2008 650 just started slipping off the start. Ok when cold, then gets worse.

Seems like it could be a clutch problem? Changed the oil and that did not help it. This is getting dangerous as I can hardly get going on an upward slope.

Any $$ estimates for a clutch rebuild?

That would depend on several things. A big one would be if you plan to do it yourself or pay someone to do it. The next big thing would be what in the clutch needs replacing. If just the drive plates need replacing and you do it yourself as low as $75 or so. If all the plates need replacing or you have a problem with the roller mechanism that engages the clutch the price could go way up.

This link will show you all the parts and give you an idea of how much they cost. http://www.suzukipartshouse.com/oemparts/a/suz/506b7050f8700235b876b5f0/clutch

Check out this DIY: DIY - Clutch Repair

If your symptoms are identical, there is a good chance your plates are worn out.

As far as cost, you won,t know until you take out the clutch and inspect
its parts, the DIY has a cost estimate in it.

Good luck.
