Wind buffeting my helmet has been a problem for me despite my 5'-6" stature. Figuring I would need to get a different windshield, I decided to experiment with the stock one. I cut 4" off the top. The buffeting around my helmet has deminished and noise level is tolerable. My chest receives more wind blast now but that is not such a bother. I'll live with the change for awhile and see if I still want to get a taller windshield.

Has anyone else notice that the front forks could benefit from a brace to stabilize them at high speed in corners?

First I've heard about it.

Are you on a 400 or a 650?

What is your rear shock setting?

If your running at 2 or 3 try setting it to 4

As a 5'3" rider, the windshield top was right in the middle of my line of sight, I had to sit up realllly straight or slouch a little, my husband cut off about 2" and it is perfect, no difference noted as far a wind buffeting. I love my scoot!
