I recently purchased a new Shoei Qwest helmet from MotorcycleGear.com pretty cheap(under $250). It is a very nice Snell approved helmet that I can wear at the track on track days and extremely comfortable on long rides. The only down side is the fact that the shield is extremely prone to excessive fogging. I was able to remedy it quickly by applying Cat Crap (de-fogging cleaner) to it and solving my issue. I registered the helmet and added a comment about how the shield fogged up the first time I used it and felt it was dangerous not to have added an anti-fog agent to their shields. I got an email back stating that I would be sent a pinlock shield to eliminate the fogging issues at no charge. I never asked for or expected them to send me anything but was more interested in what, if any, response would be given to my comment.
All I can say is Kudo's to Shoei and their customer service!

How do you like your Neotech? I have a Multi tec.. and am considering the Neotech... This is based oon claims of better ventilation, internal sun shield and space for some sort of communication system ( I have a TomTom with Bluetooth connection to earpiece.. I am having trouble mounting it on my Multitec)

Noth you would not be disappointed with the Neotec, in fact you would be very pleased with it.
However, deep pockets are required and I am not sure if I could part with a perfectly serviceable Multitech
Now if your Multitech was 6 years old then you could self justify - just.
That aside if you have deep pockets and no other call on the cash -well that's up to you.

Im sure a neotech will give twice the life or better than a multiteck which i own and will replace in a few years lol with the neotech. The construction of the helmet is superb which is why the high price, its almost bullet proof.I don't intend to test if it is hehehehe.

I got to check out a buddy's NeoTech and loved it. Quiet for a modular, well balanced, and light weight.
The $$$ are the killer for me but my modular still has a few years left so....in a few years I will find one on sale somewhere.

Try many if not all modular helmet, did not like new Nolan 104, for me fit, finish, padding, locking, comfort not so good as Néotec, this helmet blow me away, Néotec presently have all other beat including Schubert C3, it so well balance you not feel this helmet on head and shoulder, it light, it extremely aerodynamic. All component and part, chin lock are best of the best, very very large air cool channel, view port outstanding, it about as quiet as me Shoei RF-1000 and as comfie and RF-1000 renown for fit and comfort. Read review by all on this helmet, all love this helmet. Mine white it attract much less heat. Now have Cardo Scala G9 install on Neotec, perfect combination. Seal very well, have ride in incredible rain storm, everything dry, can remove padding to clean, Interior visor is fantastic.

Thanks for that.. confirmed everything that I was thinking.. How hard was it to mount the Scala headset.. I can't figure out without prying permanently mounted padding away from the shell, how to mount mine on my multi tec..

I went ahead and bought a Neotech yesterday.. Actually ordered it.. I went to a Boston area large dealer that has a great accessory department.. The fellow that runs was really great on fitting a helmet to me.. I had never had that done before.. so I ordered the solid lemon yellow helmet.. not technically Hi Vis.. but better, I suppose than Grey.. Now what to do with a good 4 year old Multi tec?

I'll have break in the Neotech carefully I think.., tighter than I wiuld have picked out.. but his thought process made sense & he knew what he was doing..

A good fit with a new helmet is often a bit snug until you have worn it for some hours. If the situation endures without comfort being achieved, you can procure thinner cheek pads from Shoei.
