Who all out there is using one of these Gel seat toppers ?? I am thinking of having the local upholstery shop shave down my seat foam and place one of these under the stock seat cover then its in place and I don't have to mess with it any more.

Ouch that's what I said on the stock seat after years of riding on Ultimate seats ...Lots of custom seats out there but I didn't want to pay at the time .. So I bought gel seat , mho very hard and uncomfortable, drivers seat from truck stop . not to bad but ok. Sheepskin not much joy either so finally had the seat redone .had 1 one half inch put under both seats and recovered in marine vinyl ,,much better butt still gets tired but doesn't hurt like it used too

That's 'economical'? With our budget I just cut out a heart shaped piece of thinner, but dense foam my fiancé is going to shove down her jeans over her tailbone. And that's no lie! lol.
Yup, getting ready for a trip the end of the week weather permitting.
