Hy,
Not a complaint just a suggestion.
On my atlantic 500 you could open the seat trunk when the motor was running. Is easy when you has to store or take something you forgot so you don't have to shut down the motor and restart it.
For the rest i find the burg 650 a great bike and love riding it.

Looked Trunk

It is possible to run a thin cable attached to the seat locking mechanism, along the under-side of the seat to the front of the seat.

Tie off the cable so that you can reach under the seat and feel around for
the cable.

Pull the cable and the seat will unlock....

This means that you will never be locked out of the storage space under
the seat whether the motor is running or not.

Handy to keep a second key under there in case you misplace your key.

Also, it has been mentione of one of the forums, that the triggering mechanism on the dash can foul up which leaves you locked out. BUT with the cable idea explanined you will still be able to get into the trunk for your helmet, gloves, whatever.

HEY, it works for me and it can work for you.
