You can get those at Wal-Mart too. I got one for my trip to scootercade. It made a great difference in seat comfort. The one I got is camo on front and black on the back side. To overcome the ugly, I set it to the amount of air that was comfy, and then turned it over so that the black side is what showed. I plan on recovering it this week-end so that it will be black on both sides.

Scootercade was a major initiation for me. I had taken the MSF coarse back in January or February, I don't remember. I had tried riding a PC800, but it was just too tall and top heavy for me, plus I had not mastered that "clutch thing" yet, and dropped it nearly every time I tried to make a sharp right turn from a stop.

Husband suggested getting a scooter might make things easier, plus the burgy is a little lighter and more balanced. I got the scooter the first week in July, rode it on a 50 mile round trip the second week-end in July, and then a 100 mile round trip the next week-end, and then a 200 mile round trip the next. Then my next trip was scootercade, a 1400 mile round trip. First time in the mountains, first time on the interstate, and first time for a real rode trip.

The first day we left around 6:30 am and made it from Magnolia, north of Houston, TX to McAlister, OK, a total of about 425 miles. I was fine, until the last 20 or so miles. I was getting really tired, not so much "Butt sore", but just plain ol' tired. We stopped to eat lunch and decided to get a motel even though it was only 2:30 in the afternoon. I took a shower and layed down for a little "nap" around 3:30. The next thing I knew it was morning, time to get up and finish the ride.

On the way home from scootercade I lasted longer. We rode from around 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Again I wasn't "Butt sore" just tired. We stopped in Tyler TX and visited my grandparents and finished the ride home the next day (Friday).

Our GWRRA Chapter has a ride every week-end, and my husband asked "You probably don't want to ride tomorrow, do you?" My answer. OF COURSE I DO!!!!! So we rode 270 miles Saturday. WOHOO!!! I love my Scooter!

Sunday I had to babysit my grandson. I think my husband was glad to have a break from riding.

I can't wait till the week-end. It kills me to drive to work in my blazer, but it would be too much trouble to change clothes at the office everyday.
