I'll toss this one out for comment..
No way in hell is a 400 or 650cc machine that is capable of 100+ mph a
"scooter" in my book. 50cc's make a scooter! Nobody would ever mistake a Burgie for a Vespa, at least, not after the first ride!
I prefer to think of the Burgie as a "radically different expression of motorcycle art and design".

Comments, anyone? 8)

I dont think that you will find a Burgman owner that will disagree with you. The only people I know that insist on calling it a scooter are the people who dont own 1. Well call it what you want , but I'm proud to say I ride a scooter if thats what you want to call it. As for me I would definetely cast my vote for the Burgman's as BIKES OF THE YEAR!
